Downingtown's Devlin Cut by Cleveland Browns
Quarterback played in one preseason game but doesn't make final roster

Pat Devlin, the former star quarterback from Downingtown East who signed two weeks ago with the Cleveland Browns, was cut by the team over the weekend.
Devlin, who played his college ball first at Penn State and later the University of Delaware, had signed during training camp due to an injury to quarterback Johnny Manziel, and played briefly in the team’s final preseason game, completing two passes.
He was cut after the Browns opted to keep only two quarterbacks, Manziel and Josh McCown, at first, although they later brought in a third, Austin Davis. A fourth player on the final roster, Terrelle Pryor, is an ex-quarterback who now plays wide receiver.
