Goldberg: Today, we have my son, Joel, and Maria Janoski. We all represent persons in need of a personal injury lawyer. Although one lawyer is assigned to a client, we all know each other’s cases so we can combine our skills to achieve the best financial recovery for our clients. Recoveries have been before trial, during trial and after a verdict. We have had many multi-million dollar recoveries.

Patch: How is Goldberg, Goldberg & Janoski involved in the community?

Goldberg: Our firm is active in giving back to the community. I'm on the board of Michael’s Way, a unique charity that aids families of cancer patients in need of financial assistance. This charity has no administrative expenses whatsoever. Thus, 100% of the contributions are paid out, upon the recommendation of hospital social workers, to those in need.

We are also contributors to the Chester County Crime Victims organization, MADD, Chester County Hospital and many other local groups. For more than 20 years, I had served on the West Chester Zoning Hearing Board. I've recently been a founder of the Chester County Advocacy Academy, part of the Chester County Bar Association, which annually presents a two day program open to all lawyers who seek to improve their litigation skills

Patch: The firm boasts results-oriented performance. How does it accomplish this?

Goldberg: Personal injury lawyers must have a fairly good knowledge of medicine. In my Army days, I was the registrar of a US Army station hospital in Chenon, France, where I had daily interaction with physicians giving care to seriously injured persons. My daughter, Alexandra, a graduate of Drexel University Medical School, is a pain management physician with whom we frequently consult. Access to good medical advice is a very important part of our representation. For many years, I was the Bar representative to the Chester County Medical-Legal Committee.

Patch: What sets Goldberg, Goldberg & Janoski apart from other firms in the area? How does GG&J distinguish itself?

Goldberg: Our firm is well known to all liability insurance companies. We are regularly fighting for our clients against Allstate, State Farm, Erie and all other insurance carriers. We have a strong reputation that we will not take the first offer and that we will go to court if in our opinion and our client’s that the settlement offer is unreasonable. Every case we open, from day one, is prepared to go to trial!

Patch: Goldberg, Goldberg & Janoski turns 50 this year. What do you envision for the future of the practice?

Goldberg: We are providing for the future by adding younger experienced litigators to our firm. This will ensure the community that we will be here to help those in need whenever the situation arises.
