Why are you seeking elective office?: To bring all my years of service in the offices of the Township and the County, to help and serve the residents of the District.
I have the elected experience and the background in running a family business to be able to be an effective legislator. I have lived and worked in the district my entire life, and I want to give back to the area. I love this area and our country and will work hard to represent your interests.
The single most pressing issue facing our state/nation is: I have received the endorsement of our local Police. We need to support our local police and give them the help and training they need to defend our lives and property.
This is what I intend to do about it: I intend to help support them and get them the equipment and training they need; they are the first line in defense of all of us.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidate seeking this post?:
I support the Rule of Law, and Law and Order. I am a supporter of school choice. I believe local zoning should be preserved and not taken over by zoning that would take away our right to single family zones. I believe in limited government, and the best government is local, we need to limit the amount of control the state has over our lives. I will never vote for a tax increase, never.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform:
We need to provide more and better services for our Senior citizens, like tax freezes on their property taxes so Seniors don't get forced into selling their property because of rising taxes. Seniors have lived there lives in our community raised there children and been good stewards of our communities they deserve to live in dignity and with respect. I would also like to see more rebates or tax credits for them also.
I support our national Constitution and State Constitution, the First and Second amendments, and our right to bear arms and practice our religions.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?: In our family business we worked together to succeed, doing whatever is required for the success of the family and to provide a way of life. I know how to work together to get things done.
As an elected Supervisor, I have made tough votes doing what is best for the Township, over objections of some. I can make the hard decisions for the good of the whole people of the district.
As a County elected Prothonotary I worked with the public, the courts and judges, working to build consensus. I was always under budget as a township Supervisor, or in running the office of the courts, as Prothonotary, always returning money to the Township or the County.
I have business experience, both local and county elected experience and I also worked as a township manager. All these positions are working with people in difficult times and getting things done.
The best advice ever shared with me was: To give back to your family, your community and your country. I have received the benefits of being an American citizen. I honor that by always giving back myself to help others and to respect our family, our religions, and our country. The United States is truly an exceptional country, and I am blessed and honored to be be able to serve and give back to my country and our district.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?: I am serious, truly love this area and country and will work tirelessly to serve the people of this district. Thank you and God bless all of you.
