WATCH: Snow Churns Through The Streets Of West Chester

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Area School District closed all of its schools, the Chester County Courts and county offices shut down, and classes were cancelled at West Chester University. But some vehicles were still out on the streets in the borough on Thursday, slipping and sliding in the treacherous conditions.

A video shared by the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce early Thursday afternoon showed the storm whipping through the streets downtown.

While most public institutions were shut down, several businesses remained open, including a few local bars and restaurants. Be sure to call ahead to confirm opening and closing before trekking out.
