Will Trash Collection Change for MLK Day?

Monday is Martin Luther King Day, and a number of government offices will be closed in observance of the holiday. Check below to see if you can still put out trash that day.

West Chester

Of West Chester's four pickup quadrants, only one will be effected by Martin Luther King day. The municipal website states that if a trash day falls directly on a holiday, trash will be picked up the day after. The northwest quadrant's trash day falls on Monday. Since MLK day is on Monday, pickup will continue for that quadrant on Jan 21.

West Goshen Township

Trash pickup is Monday and Thursday, but WEGO doesn't halt its collection for Martin Luther King Day, so trash collection will occur as it normally does. 

East Goshen Township

Trash and recycling will not be impacted, since EGO doesn't halt its collection for Martin Luther King Day, so trash collection will occur as it normally does.
