Why are you seeking elective office?
To restore common sense to Harrisburg for the families of our district. To be a citizen legislator and return to my career and family.
The single most pressing issue facing our state/nation is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Our government of "the people" has been taken over by career politicians. Term limits should be mandatory at all levels of government. Only citizen legislators will vote for term limits. I will join the fight to that end.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
My opponent has been involved in politics for over 10 years. I have no interest in becoming a career politician. I want to serve from the perspective of a citizen in our district, not the ruling class.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the incumbent failed the district?
He has continually voted against opening our state during the pandemic. These votes have caused hardships and even bankrupt families and small businesses within our community. We can re-open intelligently and safely as other counties have proven.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform
Common sense. God, family, friends and community. I support our police and first responders. I believe that everyone has a right to safety and be treated fairly. I believe we are all entitled to our opinions, political or otherwise. I believe the government should be small, efficient and stay out of the way.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As an experienced leader in the automobile auctioneer industry, I am at the top of my profession as an automobile and charity auctioneer. I have operated my auction company since 1996 and owned two other successful businesses for over 15 years. Won the World Championship of Auctioneers in 2010. Recognized by the Muscular Dystrophy Association for "years of commitment."
The best advice ever shared with me was …
Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
Not long ago, I would not have believed I would be seeking this job or filling out this questionnaire. But, I believe the people of our community are frustrated with career politicians who are not listening and acting on their behalf. If it is meant to be and the people of district 31 send me to Harrisburg, I will be there for one term and one reason: to do everything possible in the best interest of this community and it's future.
