Bucks Co. Towns With The Most New COVID Cases: Latest Data
While new coronavirus cases in Bucks Co. have slowed, they continue to rise. See the latest coronavirus numbers in your zip code.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Over the past three weeks, the number of new COVID-19 cases continued to rise in Bucks County, but at a slower rate that late December and early January, when case numbers had spiked.
On Friday, there had been a total of 39,657 coronavirus cases reported in Bucks County since the pandemic began. Over the past seven days, that number has been increasing an average of 227 cases per day, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
That number is well down compared to December and early January, when a fall surge in cases was made even worse by a surge after the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. For example, during the first week of January, Bucks County cases increased at a rate of about 423 new cases per day.

The number of COVID hospitalizations, the percentage of emergency-room visits due to the virus and the number of patients on ventilators with the virus all decreased during the past week as well, state figures show.
On Friday, there had been 1,034 deaths from the coronavirus in Bucks County since the pandemic began, according to the state.

A look at Bucks County's COVID-19 numbers over the past week shows the biggest increases continuing to be in the population centers in Lower Bucks County. But even those increases are down from what health officials had reported in recent weeks.
