Pennsbury School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Pennsbury is August 30 for grades 1-5, 6 and 9. The first day for all other grades is August 31. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Pennsbury School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/21 - 9/22: No School (Rosh Hashanah)

November

• 11/3: End of First Marking Period
• 11/6: No School for Students (Grading Day) - Tentative
• 11/7: No School for Students (Teacher Workshop/Professional Development)
• 11/10: No School (Veterans' Day)
• 11/17, 11/20, 11/21: Grades K-6 Half Day for Students (Parent/Teacher Conferences)
• 11/22: Half Day All Students
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)
• 11/27: No School for Students (Teacher Workshop/Professional Development)

December
