ShopRite Pharmacies To Deliver COVID Vaccines
The chain, with several locations in Lower Bucks County, has joined a federal program for when the vaccine is available to the public.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — ShopRite on Tuesday became the most recent chain to partner with the U.S. government to provide COVID-19 vaccines once they are available.
The partnership program is with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Under the program, the government will provide the vaccine to select pharmacies.
"We’re proud to take part in this groundbreaking public health campaign, which could significantly reduce the spread of COVID-19," said ShopRite vice president Jeffrey Mondelli. "The federal program is aiming to mass immunize the population throughout the spring of 2021, and our pharmacists are up to the challenge and ready to help our communities."
