BRISTOL, RI — Two people were arrested in Bristol Thursday evening in a stolen vehicle, Bristol police said. Several rounds of ammunition and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.

According to Bristol police, an officer stopped the vehicle, a 2013 Honda Fit, at the intersection of Wood Street and Mt. Hope Avenue, just before 6 p.m. The officer ran a vehicle check, which showed it was stolen from Providence.

The driver suddenly drove off, turning onto Mount Hope Avenue and heading east. The officer followed, chasing the vehicle onto Metacom Avenue and onto State Street before the stolen vehicle stopped at the State Street Dock.
