2 Injured In 3-Vehicle Crash In Bristol
A driver rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped in traffic, causing it to hit the next vehicle in line ahead of it.

BRISTOL, RI — Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Metacom Avenue on Tuesday night, Bristol police said. The chain-reaction crash happened after one driver reared-ended the vehicle in front of them, causing it to hit a third vehicle right in front of it.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Sherman Avenue. The two front vehicle were stopped in traffic before the initial rear-end crash.
Two people who were in the first vehicle that was hit — the middle car — were taken to the hospital with complaints of pain, and their vehicle was towed from the crash scene. The other two vehicles — the one in front and the one in the rear — were driven away.
