High school teams are divided into four divisions, but play across division throughout the season, until the playoffs begin. The divisions in Rhode Island this year include:

• Division 1 - Barrington, Bishop Hendricken, Chariho, Cranston East, Cranston West, Cumberland, East Providence, La Salle, Portsmouth and South Kingstown.

• Division 2 - Central, Coventry, Johnston, Moses Brown, Mt. Hope, Mt. Pleasant, North Kingstown, Rogers, Shae, St. Raphael, Tolman, Warwick Vets, Westerly, West Warwick and Woonsocket.

• Division 3 - Classical, East Greenwich, Hope, Lincoln, Middletown, Narragansett, Pilgrim, Ponaganset and Toll Gate.

• Division 4 - Burrillville, Central Falls, Exeter-West Greenwich, North Providence, North Smithfield, Providence Country Day/Wheeler/Sanchez, Scituate, Smithfield and Tiverton.
