Attention Young Male Singers, Choral Directors and Music Teachers

Young Men's Choral Festival featuring internationally renowned music educator and composer Rollo Dilworth, Friday, January 20, 2017 at RIC

Join us for a festival that explores and celebrates the male choral tradition:

• vocal technique clinic
• Young Men’s Festival Ensemble rehearsed and conducted by Rollo Dilworth
• dinner and T-shirt provided
• evening concert featuring Young Men’s Ensemble and The Rhode Island College Men’s Chorus
A choral workshop and concert designed especially for young men of high school age and mature junior high students
• 1:00 - 8:00 PM
• teachers and mentors are encouraged to attend
• dinner Provided
• concert open to the public
• tuition $20

Rollo Dilworth is an internationally respected music educator, conductor and composer. He frequently serves as a guest clinician/conductor for honors, festival, and all-state choirs throughout the United States and abroad, including more than 40 U.S. all-state choirs. In June 2016, he completed his term as chairman of the board of Chorus America, the foremost national organization providing support and advocacy for choral singing and education.

Dilworth is professor and chair of the Music Education Department at Temple University and the author of several textbooks on musical eduction and choral conducting. As a choral composer and arranger, he has more than 150 works currently in print.
