Boat To The July 4 Parade: Newport Ferry To Stop In Bristol

The state Department of Transportation has announced the Providence-Newport ferry will stop in Bristol on July 4.

BRISTOL, RI—The state Department of Transportation has announced the Providence-Newport ferry will stop in Bristol on July 4. This change marks the first time the ferry will land in Bristol, the DOT said, and will take passengers a block away from Hope Street and the parade route.

The price is the same as regular ferry tickets: one-way is $10 for adults; and $5 for seniors (65 and up) and for children (ages 3 to 12). Click here for here for tickets..
