Bristol Police: Larceny, Warrants and an Underage Drinking Party

All arrest information is supplied solely by the Bristol Police Department. Arrests do not necessarily indicate a conviction.

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests last week:

  • Michael Ziobro, 28, of 11 Highview Ave., Bristol, for misdemeanor larceny of less than $1,500. Police arrested Ziobro on Monday, June 17 at 9:07 a.m.
  • Stephen A. Young, 57, of 45 North Main St., Woonsocket, on a bench warrant from Sixth Division District Court. Police arrested Young after making contact with him on Mulberry Road on Monday, June 17 at 1:30 p.m.
  • Robert E. Francis, 61, of 66 Gaspe Point Road Apt. 14, Warwick, on a bench warrant from Sixth Division District Court. Police arrested Francis after making contact with him on Oliver Street on Friday, June 21 at 7:55 p.m.
Four young adults were cited for alcohol violations after police were called to a home on Goulart Avenue to break up a loud house party at 12:24 a.m. on Saturday, June 22:
  • Lauren E. Gionet, 19, of 79 Stancliff Road, Glastonbury, Ct, for underage possession of alcohol.
  • Christopher J. Kavanaugh, 20, of 5 Goulart Ave., Bristol, for furnishing or procuring alcohol to people ages 18-21.
  • Connor A. Sweet, 20, of 12 Maid Marion Drive, Gales Ferry, CT, for  furnishing or procuring alcohol to people ages 18-21.
  • Nicholas M. Calabrese, 20, of 2 Hitchcock Road, Wilbraham, MA, for furnishing or procuring alcohol to people ages 18-21.
Other Incidents:
  • The Bristol Fire Department assisted in rescuing four people from the water after their boat overturned about 200 yards from the Bristol Town Beach. No one was injured and all four victims refused treatment.
