Bristol-Warren Weather: What To Know For Feb. 9 Snow

BRISTOL-WARREN, RI — Yet another round of snow is headed to southern New England Tuesday, bringing several more inches of snow to an already white-blanketed Rhode Island. Residents hardly had a moment to catch their breath after the last storm, which brought several inches of accumulation to the state.

A parking ban is in place in Warren from 8 a.m. Tuesday until midnight.

Much of Rhode Island will see the first snowflakes fall between 10 a.m. and noon, with the onset time a little earlier in the northwest corner of the state and a little later along the southern shore. A winter storm advisory is in place for the northern half of the state through Tuesday evening. The snow is expected to taper off between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., with expected accumulations between three and four inches for much of the state.

Parking bans have been declared in many cities and towns across Rhode Island. Some communities may have trash pickup delays due to the inclement weather; call the local Department of Public Works for more information.
