Woman Involved In School Bus Crash Charged With OUI
The 27-year-old is being charged with her second OUI.

BERKLEY, MA — A Warren woman has been charged with driving under the influence in relation to a school bus crash Saturday evening that left 30 injured, some seriously, including young children. State Police identified the woman as 27-year-old Christy Gilpatrick.
Police have not determined what role Gilpatrick played in the crash. Her 2014 Subaru Impreza also went off the road into the woods on Route 24.
Gilpatrick was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol (second offense,) negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.

Bail was set at $10,000.

State police said early Saturday evening that there were several serious injuries, including some to young children. The 30 people who were injured were sent to five hospitals across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Berkley Fire said.
