Bristol's Steve Brosnihan Recognized at Saturday’s Revs Match
Brosnihan, cartoonist at Hasbro Children's Hospital, started Good Night Lights to wish a youngster a good night.

BRISTOL, RI — Bristol's Steve Brosnihan has a dream job as a cartoonist for Hasbro Children’s Hospital. He's expert at making the youngsters smile. Some time ago he came up with a little game. If the children looked out the window, they could see him say good night by flashing his lights on the drive back to Bristol.
It was an idea that caught on across the City and across the state. Police officers, elderly residents and anybody with a clear sight line to the hospital have joined him and flash lights to let the children know everyone's rooting for them.
The New England Revolution honored him as the Hero of the Match at the team’s home game on Saturday, September 9 against the Montreal Impact. He had a sideline view of the Revs pregame warmups, was recognized during the pregame ceremony and enjoyed the game from the Putnam Club.
