Community String Project and Bohemian Orchestra in Concert
Spaghetti Dinner and Concert Fundraiser for Community String Project
On May 9th, The Community String Project and The Bohemian Quartet will present an evening of Bohemian music at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St., Bristol, RI. The concert will be preceded by a spaghetti dinner.
The Bristol-based Community String Project founded in 2009, offers affordable and accessible lessons in the violin, viola, cello, and bass to youth and adults in the East Bay area. The Bohemian Quartet is an acclaimed Providence-based string quartet specializing in the music of Eastern Europe and Bohemia. Their latest album, Beyond Tradition, was nominated for three Grammys.
The Community String Project ensembles will perform with the Bohemian Quartet and the Quartet will perform separately, as well.

Tickets for the spaghetti dinner and the concert are $10 per person; $5 for student musicians and children under 12. For those attending only the concert, a $10 donation in suggested. The dinner starts at 6:00pm in the lower level of the church and the concert will follow, in the church, at 7:30pm.
