Country Inn In Warren Closed: WPRI-TV
The restaurant was closed Monday. Employees arrived for work and saw the sign on the door.
WARREN, RI-- WPRI-TV is reporting the Country Inn in Warren has closed. Employees found out when they arrived for work and saw the sign on the door. The family-style restaurant is on Market Street.
The news also saddened longtime patrons. Ruth Indeck, now of Jersey City, New Jersey, said family memories were tied up with the Country Inn. Her family had taken friends and relatives there for decades. When her mother's health failed and she didn't want to go out to restaurants anymore, she would still make the trip to the Country Inn.
"It was my favorite restaurant and my wife's favorite restaurant," Jack Indeck said. "I don't remember ever having a bad meal there. The food was always delicious. I'm sorry to hear it's closed."

The reason why the restaurant closed is not yet known.
No one answered the restaurant's telephone, and the website had reverted to a webdesign page. But the Facebook page was still up Monday.
