Delivery Truck Rolls Over Man At Dunkin Donuts: Bristol Police
The accident happened early Wednesday morning at the 381 Metacom Ave. store, police said.
BRISTOL, RI — A delivery truck driver ran over a man lying on the ground in the drive-thru lane at the Dunkin Donuts at 381 Metacom Ave. store, police said. The accident was reported at 1:56 a.m. Wednesday. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is not being released pending family notification. However, police said he was not a store employee, and officers are not certain why he was there early Wednesday morning.
The driver, 46, from Pawtucket, was not named in the police department's press release. The accident is still under investigation. Police said the truck was a 2017 Isuzu.
