East Bay Recovery Center Re-Opens Bristol Office
East Bay Recovery Center is once again offering recovery support programs and services at its new location at 220 High St. in Bristol, RI.

(Bristol, RI, March 11, 2021) – East Bay Recovery Center, a division of East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP), has returned to the town of Bristol after a brief hiatus following a re-location to Warren, RI. With help from the Bristol Prevention Coalition, East Bay Recovery Center is once again offering recovery support programs and services to Bristol residents at its new location at 220 High Street.
“We are extremely grateful for our relationship with the Bristol Prevention Coalition and are excited to be collaborating with them,” states Thomas Joyce, EBCAP’s Director of Recovery Support Services. “We have always maintained our presence in Bristol and collaborated with our community partners. Those relationships and the mutual commitment to the Town of Bristol made the re-opening of this recovery center possible,” Joyce adds.
EBCAP’s East Bay Recovery Center, with locations in Bristol and Warren, serves individuals who are contemplating recovery or actively in recovery. Both Recover Centers offer all recovery groups, meditation groups, individual peer recovery specialist services, and drop in Naloxone/Narcan trainings. “We opened the first East Bay Recovery Center in Bristol on March 1, 2018, but had to close due to unstable funding. Three years later to the day, we returned to offer peer recovery support services to the Bristol community,” Joyce relates. The Recovery Center will utilize a portion of the Bristol Prevention Coalition’s office space at 220 High Street for part-time office hours that include Mondays from 9:00am to 1:00pm, Wednesdays from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, and Fridays 9:00am to 1:00pm.
