Heavy rain expected around RI
The rain should start after 9 p.m. and continue through Sunday; thunderstorms possible.

The National Weather Service is calling for heavy rain to fall throughout Rhode Island Saturday into Sunday.
The rain should begin around 8 p.m. and continue through the night, heavy at times. Wind gusts as high as 30 mph are expected, and as much as 1-2 inches of rain could fall overnight. Thunderstorms are possible throughout the area, especially Sunday morning and continuing into mid-afternoon Sunday. Temperatures are expected to dip into the low 60s Saturday night, rebounding into the mid-70s Sunday afternoon.
