According to the report, Bristol saw 12 violent crimes in 2014 and Warren saw 16. Violent crime includes offenses involving force or the threat of force: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, according to the FBI.There were 1 reported rape, and 11 aggravated assaults in Bristol and 1 reported rape, 3 robberies, 12 aggravated assaults in Warren. Other crime stats for Bristol include 193 larcenies, 23 burglaries, and seven motor vehicle thefts. Warren had 168 larcenies, 37 burglaries, thirteen motor vehicle thefts, and two cases of arson. Nationally, violent crime decreased nationally last year by 0.2 percent from 2013, according to the report.
