Indecent Solicitation, Fraud: RI State Police Logs
Here's some of what the Rhode Island State Police's detective bureau has been up to in the past several days.

RHODE ISLAND — The Rhode Island State Police's detective bureau has arrested people on charges of indecent solicitation, fraud and filing false documents in the past several days. Here's the information as obtained from their press releases.
Charges listed below do not indicate guilt.
On Friday, Jan. 11, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Robert Ferrante, 50, of Providence, on charges of fraudulently obtaining assistance (over $500) and filing a false document with a public official. He was arraigned and held without bail as a probation violator.

On Monday, Jan. 14, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Patrick Berthiaume, 29, of Worcester, Massachusetts, on charges of indecent solicitation of a child and electronically disseminating indecent material to a minor. He was arraigned and held on $10,000 bail, with the condition that if he posts, he has limited internet access and no contact with minors.
On Monday, Jan. 14, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Robert Perry, 34, of Middletown, on charges of embezzlement or fraudulent conversion and accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes. Perry was arraigned and posted $5,000 bail.
