Labor Day 2020: What's Open, Closed In Bristol-Warren

Here's what's open and closed in Rhode Island over the holiday weekend.

BRISTOL-WARREN, RI — This Labor Day weekend will look a little different from years past, like all holidays during the coronavirus pandemic.

Following an uptick in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations after the July 4 holiday weekend, Gov. Gina Raimondo urged Rhode Islanders to avoid large social gatherings and crowds, in general.

"Just follow the rules," Raimondo said. "If you are having a social gathering, 15 is the limit. Not 20. Not 25. It's 15. And we're enforcing it."
