Memorial Scholarship Fund in Honor of Bristol's Andrew McKenna, Jr.

BRISTOL, RI — This scholarship was set up after Andrew McKenna was killed in action on August 7 in Kabul, Afghanistan. Scholarships are awarded annually to high school seniors continuing their education at a two or four year institution, or entering into a career in any branch of the U.S. military. Last year, the fund distributed more than $6,000 in scholarships, according to Charlene Ferreira.
