National Guard Training Exercise To Impact Bristol Traffic

Military personnel will be posted at various intersections to direct traffic, Bristol police said.

BRISTOL, RI — A National Guard training exercise is expected to impact traffic on Friday evening police said. Starting at 5 p.m., military personnel will be stationed at intersections throughout the town, directing traffic.

The training exercise is expected to last about an hour. During that time, the traffic lights at affected intersections will be set to a flashing pattern.

"We ask all motorists to comply with their direction at these intersections," Bristol police said.
