Obituary: Alice. (Silva) Borgia, 74

Mrs. Alice M. (Silva) Borgia, age 74 of Gooding Avenue, Bristol, died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.

She was the wife of the late Frank A. Borgia, her husband of 43 years who preceded her in 2001.

Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Morin) Silva. A homemaker, she was a member of the Warren Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Warren and loved cooking, spending time with her beloved grandchildren and enjoying rides around Colt State Park and watching the beautiful sunsets there over the bay.

She is survived by three sons, Andrew P. Borgia of Key West, FL, Steven Borgia (Lisa) of Warren and Michael Borgia of Bristol, four granddaughters; Jenna, Jillian, Olivia and Bethany Borgia, and two brothers, Paul Silva in the Far East and Frank Silva of Bristol. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Viau and Marion Soares.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Warren Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 9 Wilbur Avenue, Warren, RI.
