Margaret M. "Peg" (Flynn) Gault, 78, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at South County Hospital.

Margaret M. “Peg” (Flynn) Gault, 78, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at South County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Steven A. Gault. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michael Flynn and Mary A. (Cronin) Flynn. She was raised in Bristol where she lived for many years before moving to North Kingstown.
Mrs. Gault operated the Village Corner Market in North Kingstown, worked for the Raytheon Co. and as an attendant for the State of Rhode Island for many years until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church and a mentor for the Living Innovations program for the last 7 years.
She leaves her loving children: Steven M. Gault, Mary E. Collins and her husband Chris, and William Gault and his wife Sharon, all of North Kingstown. She was the mother of the late James E. Gault. Cherished grandmother of James M. Gault, Matthew Collins, Mark S. Collins, Erin J. Gault, Eric Gault, Scott M. Collins, Rikki Gault, all of North Kingstown, John Gault and Jacob Gault, both of Coventry, and great-grandmother of Nicholas McAllister of North Kingstown. She was the sister of Michael Flynn of Greenville and James Flynn of North Kingstown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:00 am in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School St. North Kingstown. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to South County Hospital, 100 Kenyon Ave., Wakefield, RI 02879 will be appreciated.
