Obituary: Ronald Leo Fredette Jr., 56

Ronald Leo Fredette, Jr., 56, of Bristol died Monday, March 28, 2016 at Newport Hospital of Newport, RI. Ronald was born October 21, 1959 in Jacksonville, FL. He is the son of Jean (Doty) Fredette of Portsmouth and the late Ronald Leo Fredette Sr.

Ronald grew up in a Navy family and lived in many different cities, but settled and lived in Newport most of his adult life. Ronald worked as an electrician for Hynson Electric for the last 27 years. He enjoyed his time at home surrounded by family.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara (Hunter)Fredette of Bristol, his mother Jean Fredette, his children Sandra Fredette of Savannah, GA, Amanda Fredette of Savanah, GA and Ronald Fredette III of Bristol, RI; a sister Christine Harper of Middletown, and step sons, Joseph Rodrigues, Michael Rodrigues, Christopher Rodrigues, and Peter Rodrigues, all of Bristol, RI. He also leaves a grandson Kenneth and step grandchildren Hannah, Joseph, and Elijah.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.
