BRISTOL, RI — Police are investigating after six racist stickers were found around town over the weekend. The stickers featured images of Nazis, emblazoned with the phrase "white boy summer."

A member of the public reported the first sticker around 2 p.m. Saturday, found on the outer window of Rogers Library on Hope Street. The person took down the sticker, and later gave it to police.

Later that day, another person reported that they found a second, identical sticker on a mailbox outside the nearby Hope Street post office. Police then combed through downtown, finding four more stickers on signs around Independence Park. All stickers were removed by officers and considered evidence in the investigation.
