SCORE
Bucks mentor and coach, consultant and trainer Kathleen Donohue will lead the
interactive virtual workshop.

Designed
by successful entrepreneurs, this SCORE-designed and mentor-supported program
offers the structure and support entrepreneurs need.

Part
1: Content of a Business Plan and the Types of Business Structures

In this workshop, attendees will gain a better understanding
of the purpose and content of a business plan and consider the type of business
structure that is best for you.

In
this session you will:

§ Review
the options for owning your own business

§ Evaluate
your business idea’s feasibility

§ Develop a
vision statement for your business

§ Develop an outline of your business
concept

§ Identify key data to understand your
client and market

§ Identify your marketing strategy

§ Identify and characterize your
competition

§ Develop your marketing message

§ Understand and develop your pricing
strategy

§ Identify your product and service
proposal using the Business Model Canvas

§ Identify your customers and specify their
needs (your target market)

§ Identify your partners and their needs,
as well as your needs of them

Part 5: Startup Costs, Cash Flow, and
Your Financial Plan

In this workshop, you will develop the financial
aspects of your business plan.

In this session you will:

§ Understand
and calculate your start-up costs

§ Identify
the elements of your cash flow, and how to manage it

§ Develop
your financial plan

§ Review financing options

§ Learn how to use your business plan to
obtain financing
