Special Olympics State Winter Games this Saturday
Come on down to Yawgoo Valley Ski area in Exeter to cheer the athletes on!

Athletes from around the state will gather at snowy Yawgoo Valley Ski Area this weekend for the 2015 State Winter Games.
The competition features alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing.
More than 75 athletes and unified partners from across Rhode Island will compete.

We’re excited about having our Annual State Winter Games at Yawgoo Valley Ski Area and working once again with Max & Patti DeWardner, who always provide a great experience for our athletes,” says Dennis DeJesus, CEO of Special Olympics Rhode Island. “Special Olympics Rhode Island looks forward to bringing the excitement, pageantry and celebration of this state event to the Yawgoo Valley Ski Area.”
The opening ceremony is 1 p.m. Competition begins at 1:30 p.m.
