Three RI Schools Named Blue Ribbon Schools
The three schools were among 349 nationally recognized this year.

Three Rhode Island school districts have been recognized among the best in the country and were awarded the coveted title of National Blue Ribbon School Monday by the U.S. Department of Education
The three schools were among 349 nationally recognized this year — 300 public and 49 private — for their academic excellence. Now in its 36th year, the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program has highlighted more than 8,800 schools that have test scores in the top 15 percent in their state and no major gaps among students from different demographics.
The U.S. Department of Education will honor the schools at an award ceremony in Washington, D.C. on November 7 and 8.
