Volunteers Needed For Warren Playground Project

A Warren Girl Scout is looking for volunteers to help build a new playground on Baltimore Avenue on May 11.

WARREN, RI — Volunteers are needed to help replace the playground structure on Baltimore Avenue in Warren. Local Girl Scout Sarah Oliveira is improving the playground as part of her Gold Award project, and needs assistance from the community to help on May 11. No experience is required.

The build will start 7 a.m. and run until work is finished, which is expected to be around 3 p.m. Volunteers are asked to stay for the entire day. Along with replacing the playground structure, volunteers will spread new mulch and repaint the fence and older playground equipment.
