Warren Beach Parking Fees Start This Weekend

The beach will be open on weekends starting May 29.

WARREN, RI — Memorial Day weekend is almost upon us, bringing the unofficial kickoff to summer in the Ocean State. Starting this weekend, visitors to Warren Town Beach will again have to pay to park in the beach lot.

The beach will be open weekends starting Sunday, with a lifeguard on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bathrooms will reopen, as well.

Parking attendants will be on duty while the beach is open. Season parking passes are on sale for Warren residents, or daily rates are as follows:

  • Residents: $5
  • Non-residents: $10
  • Seniors and veterans (Residents only): free

Parking is free with a town transfer station sticker or kayak rack sticker.

To help mitigate traffic, South Water Street will become a one-way, with speed bumps to slow drivers.
