WARREN, RI — Warren Town Beach is back open to swimming. Bacteria counts returned to safe levels, the Rhode Island Department of Health said Friday morning.
The beach was closed Tuesday due to high bacteria levels.
The department monitors water quality at Rhode Island beaches until Labor Day. The latest beach closure information is available by calling the department's prerecorded beach line at 401-222-2751.
