Warren Town Beach Should Close: Health Department
The beach should be closed for swimming due to high bacteria counts, the state health department recommends.

WARREN, RI — Warren Town Beach is one of six beaches that should be closed for swimming, the state health department said Tuesday.
The Rhode Island Department of Health also recommended closing Oakland and Conimicut Point Beaches in Warwick, Third Beach and Peabody's Beach in Middletown, and Barrington Town Beaches because of high bacteria counts.
When a beach closure is recommended, water quality analysis is conducted by RIDOH's laboratory or a state-certified laboratory. The status of a beach may change daily. The most up-to-date beach information is available through a recorded message on RIDOH's beaches telephone line (401-222-2751) and online:
