What To Know About Getting The Coronavirus Vaccine In Warren
Residents aged 75 and older can register for the town's contact list.

WARREN, RI — As the coronavirus vaccination effort ramps up across Rhode Island, the town of Warren is taking steps to get ready for the wider-scale distribution effort. Residents aged 75 and older can register for the town's contact list to get an appointment as doses become available.
To get on the list, residents can call Betty Hoague, the director of the senior center, at 401-247-1930 or email her at bhoague@townofwarren-ri.gov. Please include name, date or birth and a contact phone number, so town officials can get in touch.
The town expects to receive about 70 doses per week from the Rhode Island Department of Health, starting next week. Registered seniors will be contacted by age, from oldest to youngest.

In the initial pilot program, Warren was given 50 doses, which were given out at a regional clinic. Seniors were chosen to receive these doses based on the Special Needs Registry.
