Your Guide: Raptor Weekend at Audubon
Owls, falcons, and hawks descend on the Audubon Environmental Education Center Sept. 7 and 8.

One of the biggest weekends for the Audubon Environmental Education Center is on Sept. 7 and 8, as the indoor and outdoor sanctuary hosts Raptor Weekend, featuring birds and presenters from all manner of locale.
Hawks, owls, and falcons are due for display, with presentations by Laurie Schumacher from Hamilton, NY, Marcia Wilson of Eyes on Owls, Peter Green on photographing urban raptors, lectures by Kim Calcagno and Laura Carberry, and a rehab presentation by Born to be Wild. Audubon staffers will be making presentations over the two-day event.
Hours both days are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Two-day passes for nonmembers are $20 per adult, $10 per child. Single-day $12 for adults and $6 for kids 3 and older.
Family four-packs [single-day, two adults and two kids] available for $30 for non-members, $25 for members.
Online tickets also available. Service charges apply; cost varies for each purchase.
