19 Charged With DUI In RI Over July 4 Weekend: State Police

PROVIDENCE, RI — Rhode Island State police stepped up traffic patrols across the state over the July 4 holiday weekend, charging 19 people with drunken driving.

Four of the people charged were from Massachusetts; the remainder were from Rhode Island. Their names are listed below, along with charges.

Harold Lee III, 33, of Roxbury, Massachusetts

Ogunsola Ogutuga, 42, of Woonsocket

• Driving under the influence, first offense
• Refusal to submit to a chemical test

Victor Obianwu, 31, of Bristol

• Driving under the influence, first offense
• Disorderly conduct
• Obstructing an officer in the execution of duty
• Refusal to submit to a chemical test

Joshua Bartis, 33, of Warwick

• Driving under the influence, first offense
• Refusal to submit to a chemical test
• Driving with a suspended license, third offense

Kayleigh A. Lozito, 35, East Providence

• Driving under the influence, first offense
• Refusal to submit to a chemical test

Heather Xavier, 21, of Cumberland

• Driving under the influence, first offense
• Reckless driving
• Failure to stop for a crash, resulting in damage to a vehicle

Jeffrey Dirocco, 25, North Providence
