'Asian Lantern Spectacular' Coming To Roger Williams Park Zoo
The event will run Wednesday through Sunday nights from April 15 to July 4.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Following a series of drive-through events in the fall and winter, another family-friendly event is coming to light up the night at Roger Williams Park Zoo. Starting April 15, the all-new Asian Lantern Spectacular will be at the zoo.
"Journey through a wonderland of illuminated larger-than-life lanterns inspired by our wild world," zoo officials said in a statement. "From dazzling and interactive displays to delicious Asian-inspired cuisine, this enchanting multicultural experience is sure to delight all ages!"
The walk-through display, produced by Hanart Culture, will include more than 50 lantern displays, along with an interactive lantern area for kids, unique souvenirs and specially-selected refreshments.

The event will run from April 15 to July 4, Wednesday through Sunday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The last admission will be at 9 p.m.
Tickets will only be available to buy online, and will not be sold upon entry. Adults cost $25, and children aged two to 12 are $23. Kids younger than one year old are free. Active zoo members will save $2 per adult ticket, and $1 per child ticket.

Coronavirus safety measures will be strictly enforced to keep attendees and staff safe. All guests older than 2 years old will be required to wear a mask, and social distancing will be required.
