PROVIDENCE, RI — After closing its doors for more than a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Providence Performing Arts Center is set to reopen this fall.
Fan-favorite Broadway show "Hamilton" is set to return to Providence, along with several shows slated for the 2020 season that had to be rescheduled, such as "Dear Evan Hansen" and "Jesus Christ Superstar."
Along with the new season lineup, PPAC Board Chairman J.L. Singleton announced the completion of the restoration project on the theater's historic facade. Work has been underway throughout the theater's closure.
