CANCELLED: Cause for Paws Classic Car Show

In 2007, I founded the Cause for Paws Classic Car Show to raise much-needed funds for the homeless animals at the Warwick Animal Shelter. With the support of volunteers, donors, the media and the car enthusiast community, Cause for Paws has grown to be our biggest fundraiser of the year.

This fundraiser has been critically important for the continued top-notch care of homeless and abandoned animals as well an opportunity for our animal loving community to come together.

Cause for Paws means everything to me however I recently learned that I will undergo major surgery in June and must cancel the event for this year.

Life has been challenging for all of us including shelter animals throughout this pandemic but I believe the future looks bright! We will overcome these obstacles that have been placed in our path and look forward to planning an amazing event for our devoted community next year.

So please stand by a little longer - we cannot wait to see you the second week of June 2022 and share this fantastic event with you.

The 13th Annual Classic Car Show to help Warwick’s homeless animals roars to life on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 171 Service Place, located at 171 Service Avenue (off Jefferson Blvd.), Warwick, RI 02886. Rain date is Sunday, July 18, 2021.

Classic Cars to 1999 and all-year Corvettes along with Antique, Hot Rod, Muscle, Exotic, Rat Rod, Custom Cars and Firetrucks are invited to exhibit. Vehicle registration is from 9 AM to 12 PM, with free goody bags and commemorative Dash Plaques to the first 100 entries.

The entry fee is $15.00 per car. Trophies will be awarded at 2 PM to the top 50 cars, as voted by participants, including Best of Show, People’s Choice and Best Club Participation.

Free admission for spectators.

Enjoy oldies music by Cruisin’ Bruce Palmer. There will be door prizes and raffles, including a 50/50 raffle.

Bring a can of wet dog food or wet cat food for the shelter animals and receive an additional door prize ticket.

Food and refreshments will be available.

The state’s directives regarding COVID-19 will be followed.
