Children's Room To Open On June 3 At Central Library
The Central Library will celebrate the grand opening of its children's room on Saturday, June 3.
CRANSTON, RI — Mayor Allan Fung will be at the Central Library at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3. He might be checking out some books, but his real purpose is to cut the ribbon at the newly renovated children's room, the library says.
The ceremony will be followed by refreshments and tours of the room. Children are invited to explore the fantasy-themed features of the space and take home a free balloon. The Central Library is at 140 Sockanosset Cross Road, Cranston, 02920.
