Coronavirus Vaccine Clinics Planned For Rhode Island Veterans
The VA is sponsoring several first-come, first-served vaccine clinics for veterans and their spouses.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Rhode Island veterans of all ages can get their coronavirus vaccine at several upcoming clinics sponsored by the VA.
Here's a look at upcoming events in Rhode Island. All events are first-come, first-served and are open to veterans and their spouses. Veterans are asked to bring a DD214, photo ID and a filled out 1010EZ form, available at va.gov.
On April 12, a vaccine clinic will be held at the former Benny's store in Middletown, which currently serves as a state-run vaccine distribution site. Johnson and Johnson doses will be available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. From noon to 3 p.m., second doses will be administered to those who received their first shot Pfizer shot on March 22, by appointment only.

Starting April 13, a daily walk-in clinic will be held at the VA Medical Center in Providence from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pfizer doses will be given to veterans, spouses and caregivers.
An evening clinic will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 14, also at the VA Medical Center. It will be held in the C Wing on the second floor. Johnson and Johnson doses will be available.

Those who received their first dose on March 30 at New Hope Church or the University of Rhode Island will receive their second dose April 17, by appointment only.
A drive-through clinic will be held at the VA Medical Center on March 24 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. One thousand doses of the Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer vaccines will be administered. Attendees will be allowed to choose which vaccine to get if supplies are available.
