Cranston Police Seize Drugs, Thousands In Cash During Raid
Nico German Jr., 19, is accused of selling drugs while on home confinement for a previous drug charge.

CRANSTON, RI — A Cranston man is facing charges after he was found with "a substantial amount" of drugs and thousands in cash, police said.
Nico German Jr., 19, was arrested at his Smith Street home Tuesday morning, according to police. The Cranston Police Department's Special Investigations Unit determined he was selling drugs from his home while he was on home confinement from a previous drug arrest. He also had a gun, police said.
Police found 365 grams of marijuana, 100 THC chocolate bars, 95 other THC edibles, seven rounds of .45 caliber ammunition, other drug paraphernalia and more than $18,000 in cash, the department said in a release. Another search at a different location turned up an additional $40,000 in cash, police said.

German was charged with manufacturing, possession or delivery of schedule one and two drugs. He was arraigned in Third Division District Court and held as a bail violator.
