Cranston Public Library's Summer Reading Kick-Off

Prepare to blast off into a summer of reading at the Cranston Public Library's Summer Reading Kick-Off!

Cranston Public Library is excited to announce our 2019 Summer Reading Program; A Universe of Stories. The kick-off event will take place on Saturday, June 15, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM at the William Hall Library. Participants will attend an astronaut training academy and register for our summer reading program in this fun-filled afternoon.

Our Astronaut Training Academy will prepare kids for a summer of extraterrestrial reading. We'll have a mission control room where kids will receive their mission logs to record their reading journeys, a robot obstacle course, a zero-gravity chamber (better known as a bounce house), a photobooth, space-themed carnival games, and a temporary tattoo station. We'll also be serving popsicles to our outer space explorers during the program (limit: one popsicle per astronaut.)

This program is open to school age children to attend with their families.
No registration is required. Families may drop in any time between 1 PM and 4 PM.

William Hall Library is located at 1825 Broad St. Cranston, RI.
