Cranston: Stabbing Reported Tuesday Night On Burbank Avenue

Police confirmed four people went to the hospital. The incident is still being investigated.

CRANSTON, RI —Cranston police confirmed they are investigating a stabbing Tuesday night at 85-87 Burbank St. According to Maj. Todd Patalano, one victim suffered "serious, but not life-threatening injuries" and was admitted to the hospital. Two other people went to Rhode Island Hospital. A fourth person, who is a suspect in the investigation, was taken to Kent County Hospital. He has been arrested.

The suspect's injuries were described as not life-threatening.

"At this time we are still investigating the incident and a search warrant is being executed at this location." Maj. Patalano said. "Further information will be released tomorrow once detectives conclude their investigation."
